Welcome to Daldam Tattoo — Hongdae, Seoul
Thank you for choosing Daldam Tattoo Studio.
Proper aftercare is very important for keeping your tattoo clean, healthy, and beautiful while it heals. Please follow the instructions below carefully.
Remove the wrap after about 2 to 4 hours, or follow your artist’s instructions.
Wash your hands first, then gently clean the tattoo with lukewarm water and mild, unscented liquid soap.
Do not re-wrap the tattoo unless your artist specifically tells you to do so.
Pat the area dry gently with a clean paper towel. Do not rub the tattoo.
Apply a very thin layer of aftercare ointment 2 to 3 times a day for the first 7 to 10 days, or as needed.
After the skin begins to settle and a new layer of skin forms, switch to an unscented lotion to keep the area moisturized.
Leave the Saniderm on for about 3 to 4 days, unless your artist advises otherwise.
When removing it, do so gently under lukewarm running water.
After removing the film, wash the tattoo gently with mild, unscented liquid soap.
Pat it dry with a clean paper towel, then apply a thin layer of tattoo cream.
Continue using tattoo cream for about 7 to 10 days, then switch to unscented lotion.
If the Saniderm starts leaking, peeling badly, causing redness around the edges, or creating irritation, remove it immediately and continue with normal aftercare.
Wash your tattoo gently twice a day during the early healing period.
Do not scratch, pick, or peel the tattoo, even if it becomes itchy.
Avoid swimming, saunas, hot tubs, baths, and any soaking in water until the tattoo is fully healed.
Avoid direct sun exposure, tanning, heavy exercise, shaving over the tattoo, and anything that may cause irritation.
Try to wear loose, clean clothing to protect the tattooed area.
Do not apply too much ointment or cream. Too much product can slow healing.
Keep your tattoo clean and lightly moisturized until it is fully healed.
Some redness, peeling, itching, and light fluid buildup can be normal during healing.
However, if you notice severe redness, unusual swelling, strong pain, pus, or signs of infection, please contact a medical professional.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
We are always happy to help.
